LINGERIE FROM SQUARE VARIATIONS
I get a lot of comments asking if we can use stitch patterns outside of the garter. Still would! So this time I started knitting squares of my most popular knitting patterns. I Love My Little Bunny Patch Each of my knitted softies has a unique personality that fits their names perfectly.
AMIGURUMI BUNNY: Many subscribers wonder how we can get even more creative with this rabbit print, especially in terms of size. I got dozens of questions about whether it can be knitted more or less than my example. Absolutely any size! To prove this, I tied an amigurumi rabbit with toothpicks. Yes true!

STEP BY STEP instructions and pictures for knitting a rabbit from a square
STEP 1: Putting 30 stitches
In the beginning, we will apply any number of stitches of your choice! In this example, I overlaid 30 stitches using US size 7 knitting needles and worsted yarn.
STEP 2: Knit a square into a garter stitch.
Knit your piece into a garter knit pattern until your piece is a perfect square. The garter stitch simply knits the knit stitch into each individual row. The easiest way to tell when you knit an equilateral square is to match your corners. Then it’s time to tie them up.
STEP 3: Sew a triangle for the rabbit head
Sew the triangle shape loosely with thread and a tapestry needle. First we will sew our piece in the middle to the end. Then form a triangle. Place the filler ball with both ends of the threads on the side of the part.
STEP 4: RCA stitches for the rabbit head
Get your rabbit ready! Your rabbit’s head and ears will be shaped immediately! Too cool! Then just sew the back.
STEP 5: Make a pom pom tail
Finish the bunny with a little pom-pom for its tail. I like to wrap the fork around the fork to make mini pompoms.
STEP 6: Embroidery rabbit face (optional)
Give your rabbit extra personality by embroidering the face in your chosen colors and features. I add eyes, nose and mustache.
